Welcome to our Boutique Inn! It's our pleasure to provide you with an enjoyable life experience. To ensure a pleasant time for everyone at the Inn, please read the following carefully:

Winter Comfort

Frommers' Mexico advises winter visitors to San Miguel de Allende to bring long johns because most hotels and B&Bs have no heat in the rooms. Alba del Costillo is an exception!

We know how nice it is to slip into a warm bed after a long day of shopping and sight seeing. All of our beds have electric mattress warmers. Guests can adjust the temperature to maximize sleeping comfort.

We also know how nice it is to warm the room in the morning or late at night. Our suites are equipped with the most advanced gas heaters imported from the United States. No more matches! Just set the temperature and press the button, then relax in a nice warm room enjoying reading, conversation and each other.

Drinking Water

We provide bottled water in a small pitcher in your suite. Use it for drinking and tooth brushing.

Shower

It may take a while for hot water to start in your suite.

No Smoking

in your suite and in any public area at the Inn. If you must smoke, please do so in the private courtyard or terrace of your suite.

House Keeping

The staff will clean your suite beginning at 10:00 a.m. Ask the manager if you need more towels, shampoo, water, etc.

Energy / Water Conservation

We would appreciate you turning off the lights when you leave your suite. To have your towels replaced, simply drop them on the bathroom floor.

Breakfast

Enjoy your reserved breakfast service between 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. in the salon, or served in your suite by prior arrangement with the manager.

Fountain Jacuzzi

Open to midnight. Contact the staff at least 2 hours before you want to enjoy the Jacuzzi.
Please keep the voice level low when you use the Jacuzzi so that other guests will not be disturbed.

Bird-watching

The Inn has a pair of binoculars available for you to enjoy the egrets and pelicans on Lake Allende.

Telephone

Local phone calls are free in the manager's office. Please use your own calling card for long distance calls.

E-mail

The Inn has e-mail service. Contact the manager to send / receive important email.

Television / Cable / Video

In the lower bar area, we have a television for you to enjoy.Ask the manager for a list of our video collection. Reservation is available for special television / cable / video events (e.g. , World Series, soccer match, an opera, a film, etc.)

Transportation

Ask the manager to arrange taxi rides into downtown and / or to the airport.

Tipping

Our staff works hard to ensure the comfort of your stay. If you feel the service is of good quality, tipping in a box in the salon will be appreciated (US $1 per day is recommended).

Gate Entrance

Our full-time night staff, Julio, will be at the Inn from 6:00 p.m. through 7:00 a.m..
If you return to the Inn late, he will open the gate for you. If you need information or help, Julio will also assist you.

Downtown Activities

Our manager has information to assist you with restaurants, nightclubs, art exhibits and concerts.

Activities around the Inn

You can walk or hike safely along the lake and streets in Los Frailes. We have friendly dogs that may want to walk along with you. Their names are Sax, Guapo and Celaya. Horseback riding can also be arranged.

Massage Service

Contact the manager for a professional therapeutic massage in your own suite ($250-$300 pesos per hour).

Laundry Service

$5 USD per load of laundry. Ironing will be an extra charge.
