"We enjoyed our stay very much. The service was exceptional, friendly, and generous. The environment was relaxed and warm. We felt that we were welcomed guests and the premises were our home. We preferred the location over the hustle and noise of the down town. "Villa is absolutely beautiful, tranquil & perfect place for a romantic getaway, especially the cozy, romantic atmosphere created in the 'Drunken Moon' suite. The moonlight that shines through the dome over the bed is breath taking. This is THE "honeymoon Suite". Not to mention the view from the balcony and the bathtub, when you light some candles & fill it with bubble bath.
Luis is fantastic, charming, & makes you feel at home (Not to mention he makes a "mean" breakfast !!!)"

"We found Villa Del Lago on the internet and it sounded too good to be true. We thought there had to be some exaggeration, but everything was exactly as represented - only better. The rooms are beautiful, big and comfortable. Everything is spotless and the service the best, the most attentive we've ever seen in all our years of travel. Julio and Margarita served delicious breakfasts and had coffee and cookies waiting for us when we got back late at night. We fell in love with them. Luis answered our e-mails promptly and welcomed us when we arrived. He's great!
